When I Figured Out What to Write

I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time dreaming up stories and worlds, and then worrying about what I’m going to write next in my incredible novel. That no one may ever read. And then there is the blog and I wonder why the hell I ever considered that I needed one. At one time I thought it would be a great idea, that the world is going all technical and I should probably jump on board. I was probably right, but right now, I can’t think of why.
So, I let it go to crap. I thought, I know! I’ll write short stories! No, not working, let’s be serious, I have a day job and am obsessed with writing the other thing. Embarrassingly, I noticed my awesome friend following me and it said on her fantastic, regularly updated blog, that my last post was a year ago.
That’s just ridiculous. I realized I had two options.
1. Cancel the blog
Or
2. Start using it
Since I decided that I must have been intelligent for starting it, though I am still exploring why, then I might as well go with option two. Without the short stories. Instead I will write about what I know, the incredible world of writing without any firm idea on how to do it.
Maybe you will enjoy my musings and will follow me to learn something new, to learn to write along with me, or for the entertainment. Maybe you will hate me, and that’s ok too. You can not follow me or follow me just to laugh at me and make yourself feel far superior. I love helping people. Either way, I have decided to put my blog to use…in a way that doesn’t upset the delicate balance of me obsessing over my book(s).
It will be a journey of inexperience and I guarantee nothing.

  1. Do I have to wait until next year for the next post?

    1. You might...I only have so much time, and *someone's* political posts take forever to get through. Heehee.
